Maid Service Q: Do you use your own cleaning products? A: Yes we do, but we are more than willing to use our customers cleaning products.
Q: Do you schedule one time appointments? A: Yes
Q: What are the general cleaning services that you offer? A: We ask that the customer prioritize their cleaning needs and we try to meet those in the allotted time.
Q: Can I schedule bi-weekly or monthly appointments? A: Yes, we try to work around your schedule as best we can.
Q: Does someone need to be there while you are working? A: No, as long as we have access to your home and we will lock up when we leave.
Q: Is the rate different if the house or apartment is empty? A: No, we still charge the same rate but can adjust the length of time we are there.
A: We have a one hour minimum fee.
Q: Do you clean businesses? Do you clean after the business closes? A: Yes we do clean offices and yes we will clean after hours.
Q: Do you clean inside ovens and refrigerators? A: Yes, however customers should realize that special cleaning needs require more time in addition to general cleaning.
Q: Are your rates for one or two people? A: Two people, we always work in pairs.
Carpet Cleaning Q: What type of carpet cleaning process do you use? A: We spray on an oxidizing solution that separates the dirt from the carpet fibers. We then use a 20” diameter spin clean bonnet on a carpet buffer that picks up the dirt and stains. It also softens the carpet fiber and helps to allow your carpet to dry in about one hour.
Q: How do you measure the area of a room to be cleaned? A: We measure only the area of the room that you wish to be cleaned. We do not measure under furniture that you do not wish to be moved.
Q: What type of furniture do you move? A: Couches, chairs and tables. We do not move entertainment centers, curio cabinets with breakables or items that are easily damaged.
Q: What are the customer responsibilities? A: Customers should remove all small objects from areas to be cleaned such as children’s toys, plants, shoes, clothing, etc. Also, remove any breakables from furniture to be moved.
Q: Do you offer carpet protector? A: Yes, for a small additional fee we can put down a protector that helps prevent staining if a spill does occur. We also guarantee our protection service for six months. If, in the case of a spill/stain that you cannot remove promptly afterwards, we will come out and treat it ourselves.
Q: How long does it take the carpet to dry? A: It takes approximately one hour to dry. Certain conditions aid in the drying time; such as low humidity and air circulation.
A: On heavy traffic or stained areas, we use a pre-spray or spot stain remover to help augment our cleaning solution. In most cases we can remove or greatly lighten the stain. If the stain has been there for a while and has penetrated the carpet fibers it may not be completely removable.
A: yes, we have two different methods for cleaning area rugs. The first method can be done in your home using our oxidizing carpet cleaning and carpet buffer process. The second method is a deep cleaning process we do outside of your home using a controlled pressure washing technique. This method thoroughly cleans your carpet deep down to the carpet backing and is guaranteed to remove all pet odors and stains. Our deep cleaning method is safe to use on all types of carpets, including oriental rugs.
Pressure Washing A: Only when necessary, such as oil spots on driveways. We find that most mold and mildew can be removed with just water pressure.
Q: What type of chemicals do you use? A: We only use chemicals that are environmentally safe and do not pose a threat to plants or household pets. If necessary, we can cover plants and furniture with plastic.
Q: When is the best time to pressure wash your home? A: Generally, any time is a good time to clean the exterior of your home. Mold and mildew are not seasonal; they grow all year long. However, spring and fall seem to be the preferred times for this type of work since people seem to spend more time outdoors during the cooler weather. As with most cleaning jobs, the more frequently you clean, the better it is.
Q: What types of surfaces can be cleaned? A: Most any exterior surface can be cleaned such as concrete, brick, wood, aluminum and vinyl siding. Painted surfaces can be cleaned but may retain some discoloration if staining has occurred within the paint.
Q: Does pressure washing damage wood surfaces? A: No. Careful control can clean wood surfaces such as fences, decks, landscape timbers etc. without eroding the wood surface.
Q: How often should the exterior of my home be cleaned? A: It varies. Areas that are very shaded and damp require cleaning more often. Homes that are surrounded by woods or homes with siding adjacent to large bushes or driveways with overhanging trees need frequent cleaning. Also, homes that are located in high pollen areas or near construction sites will need to be cleaned more often. Generally speaking, a home’s exterior should be cleaned yearly.
Q: Do you clean partial areas of homes? Such as a deck, one or two sides of a home only, or just a driveway and sidewalk? A: Yes. We do have a minimum charge for our pressure washing service however it usually covers any partial cleaning the homeowner desires.
Q: Do you clean stucco siding? A: Yes we do. Stucco can be cleaned but not with as high a pressure as other types of siding. Once stained it can be very difficult to remove all of the stains. That is why stucco should be cleaned more often than typical siding. We do not try to clean stucco that is cracked or separated from its wallboard.
Q: Is there any preparation the customer should do prior to pressure washing? A: Mainly, remove anything breakable from areas that will be cleaned. Also, remove potted plants and outdoor furniture from steps, decks and patios. Each customer will be given a customer responsibility sheet prior to the service that will outline what is needed.
Upholstery Cleaning Q: Can my furniture be cleaned in my home? A: Yes, we do not remove furniture from the residence.
Q: What is the drying time once the furniture is cleaned? A: In most cases, one to two hours depending on the amount of cleaning required. Also, low humidity and good air circulation are contributing factors in the drying process.
Q: Do you offer upholstery protector from future spills and stains? A: Yes, upholstery fabric protector is available and is often recommended.
Q: Do you provide upholstery services for small jobs such as bar stool seat covers? A: Yes. We do have a minimum charge to come to your home. If the upholstery cleaning is in addition to one of our other services, such as carpet cleaning, that fee is waived.
Q: What types of materials do you clean? A: We clean all major types of upholstery material.
