Tips:

Darkened discoloration around the borders of your carpet is caused by your homes heating and cooling filtration system.  Using your vacuums crevice tool in these areas once a month helps to reduce the prolonged staining in your carpets fibers.

Carpet, Floor & Upholstery Cleaning

Our carpet cleaning uses the highest quality cleaning products and is safe for your family and pets. The process we use dries in about one hour and you can walk on your carpet at anytime. We do not use phosphates (detergents) because, if not completely removed, phosphates will dry and attract dirt to the carpet.  We do soak your carpet, which can cause mold and mildew to form under you carpet.

Our carpet cleaning service uses an environmentally safe non-detergent solution that is sprayed onto your carpet and activates with dirt and stains, lifting them away from the carpet fibers.  We then use a spin clean cotton bonnet to remove dirt and aid in the drying time.  Most stains are removed or substantially lightened.  Stairway carpeting can be cleaned using a spray-on / vacuum-off extractor.  For area rugs that may have become infested with pet hair and odor, we have a special deep cleaning process that uses controlled pressure cleaning to thoroughly remove any loose debris and odor that are in the carpet fibers and carpet backing.  This process must be done out of the home.

We offer no bells and whistles, just good honest carpet cleaning with a    personal touch.

 Upholstery Cleaning

Our upholstery cleaning service offers spot cleaning or complete surface cleaning of your furniture that will be done in your home.  Again, we use an environmentally safe non-detergent solution.  We clean all major brands of upholstery fabrics, including micro-fiber and suede.

Tile and Grout: Cleaning and Sealing

Absolute Power Clean specializes in cleaning and resealing tile floors and walls.  It is important to note that maintaining the proper seal over your tiled surfaces will add many years of beauty to your homes décor and avoid costly tile and grout replacement.

There is a very simple way to determine if your grout or floor tile needs sealing. Simply place a few drops of water on the areas to be tested.  If they turn a darker shade, then those areas need to be sealed.

There is a difference between sealing grout joints and sealing tiles themselves, and depending on the type of tile you have you should use one or the other.

Glazed ceramic tiles only need to have the grout sealed. Sealing tile grout gives your tile surface greater water and mildew resistance, and is indispensable for keeping grout from getting dirty. Unsealed grout will absorb dirt, grease and grime such that it becomes impossible to clean.:

When should you apply the sealer? For a new tile surface or re-grout, nearly all grout manufacturers advise that you wait at least 48 hours after grouting before applying sealers so the grout has time to finish setting. For maintenance of existing tiling, you should re-apply every year or two.
